Where did you come from, baby dear?
Out of the Everywhere and into here.

Eli Parker finally made it. I was so excited the past week or so waiting on him to get here. The anticipation was high for all of us. Who is this guy gonna be? Is he going to look like his big brother at all, or was he going to look so much like him that we just can’t get over how much the resemble one another. Is he going to have hair? Will it be a lot or just a little? Will he have is momma’s toes and his daddy’s smile? We wondered how big he was, because there just wasn’t anyway his mom could fit anymore of him inside her belly. Then he finally made it. He weighed in at 9lbs 11 oz, 23 inches long, had some dark hair and at times looks so much like his big brother, that I have flash backs to holding Orion after he made it here 5 years ago. There were so many great moments since he got here. A few I got to take pictures of and some I’ll just store forever in my mind. Orion, who stayed with me and his Aunt Cara and Uncle Brad while Melissa and Mike were at the hospital, asked about his “brudder” all the time and couldn’t wait until we’d go visit everyday. My favorite memory is going to be Orion looking into the baby’s bed saying, “Hello Eli Parker. I’m your big brudder. My name is Orion.”
I can’t look over these with out getting misty eyed. I loved getting to take pictures of the moment this family grew and opened up a little more to make room for one more. My family and friends have the most amazing babies and I love getting to have them in my life. I love them all dearly and Eli is now a part of all that. I’m not sure I remember a day without him in it. Hasn’t he always been here?
